evaluating disability, diversity and inclusion

How did Australia score this year for disability and inclusivity in the workplace?

The APM Disability Diversity and Inclusivity Index (DDI Index) is the Australian benchmark for disability diversity and inclusivity. And it’s the largest holistic research project of its kind in Australia. We have been conducting this research since 2019.

This year we’ve conducted research with the help of over 3000 businesses and people with disability to create the DDI Index which provides a score on disability diversity and inclusivity in Australian workplaces.

Capturing attitudes, perspectives and actions, the DDI Index is a benchmark of inclusivity and equality for job seekers and employees with a disability, or people returning to work after an injury or illness.

The report on the DDI Index findings includes more than just a score.

A range of factors are examined in the research, including access to employment and careers, equality and inclusivity in workplaces, and the barriers facing people with disability and the steps to remove or reduce them.
