How to prepare for an automated video interview

An automated video interview is like a regular video interview, except there’s no interviewer – rather, the questions are presented to you and your responses are recorded on camera and sent to the hiring manager to review them.

How it works

These types of interviews can be done in different ways, but generally you will be given a question and some thinking time, and then you will get about two or three minutes to answer that question while your answer is recorded.

The recording will stop automatically after your time is up, and you may not be given a second chance to try answering that question again.
